Based on the artwork created for this year's MENA Film Festival, Egyptian artist Marwan Shahin reveals the hidden layer of the psychedelic clock that represents time which the diverse group are dancing on top of. Rendered on beautiful papyrus, the reimagining of Matisse's iconic "The Dance" to present a narrative that reflects MENA 5's program that focuses on bodies through space and time, weaving a tapestry of peace, diversity, identity, and fluidity.
